As a mathematics educator with a strong affinity with the parent discipline I have interests in the following areas:
1. Mathematics
2. Teaching and learning in undergraduate mathematics
3. Student understanding of mathematical proof
4. The history of mathematics.

Teaching interests:
I have taught various undergraduate mathematics courses at the Exeter School of Education alongside Dr R P Burn:
Number Theory.
Algebra and Geometry.
History of Mathematics.
Additionally I have taught and supervised in MEd and taught doctorate EdD courses in mathematics education alongside Professor Paul Ernest
